Celebrate Africa

Celebrate Africa is an initiative that Abraham Walyejjemu and Syriaque Thomsen started a couple of years ago. The idea came along as they felt and were convinced that it was time for Africa to be seen, shown, and be experienced in a new way.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to have Celebrate Africa as a platform where people can be inspired through role models from both African and Danish communities.

Our mission

Our mission is to promote Africa as a continent, acknowledge those who promote it through their work, and inspire others.

Our goal

Our goal is to get everybody involved in this initiative, and celebrate our selves, as we are all stakeholders.

The Objective

There are many positive aspects about Africa and the African community in Denmark. Africans and Danes together make positive contributions towards highlighting those aspects that uplift Africa. These accomplishments in: Entrepreneurship, Academia, Sport; and Arts and Crafts should be celebrated. The individuals and organisations that promote Africa through their endeavours, must be appreciated and hence the "Best African Achievement Awards"
